Congratulations sent to China on 72nd National Day

(VOVWORLD) - Leaders of Vietnam have offered congratulations to their Chinese counterparts on the 72nd National Day of China (October 1, 1949 - 2021).

General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee Nguyen Phu Trong, President Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, and Chairman of the National Assembly Vuong Dinh Hue sent congratulatory messages to General Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and President of China Xi Jinping, Premier Li Keqiang, and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of China Li Zhanshu.

Congratulating China on its achievements over the last 72 years, the Vietnamese leaders expressed their belief that under the CPC’s leadership with General Secretary and President Xi at the core, the Chinese people will successfully fulfill the strategic goals and tasks set at the 19th National CPC Congress and take firm steps forward to realise the “Second Centenary Goal”, which is to build China into a modern socialist country that is prosperous, strong, democratic, culturally advanced, harmonious, and beautiful.

They affirmed that the Vietnamese Party, State, and people always attach importance to developing Vietnam - China relations in a healthy and stable manner. They are ready to join China in enhancing equal and mutually beneficial cooperation, promoting the stable and sustainable development of the two countries’ comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership, and contributing to regional and global peace, stability, and development.
