Tran Quang Huy, Head of the Southwestern Asia and Africa Department, said Vietnamese businesses should be more active in seeking business opportunities in Egypt. “The Ministry of Industry and Trade sees Egypt as a lucrative market with a large population and good economic recovery. Egypt has an important position in the Middle East and Africa, which will provide a gateway for Vietnamese products to enter these areas. Egypt’s policies on economic development, investment, construction of industrial zones, and services along the Suez canal will open up opportunities for Vietnamese enterprises in trade, investment, services, logistics, fishery, and agriculture.”
