(VOVworld) - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Consular Department has marked the 70th anniversary of its traditional day and received the first-class Labor Order, a noble distinction from the Party and State.

Addressing the ceremony in Hanoi on Wednesday, Deputy Foreign Minister Nguyen Quoc Dung said that over the past 70 years the Consular Department has made many important contributions to Vietnam’s foreign policy.
Dung stressed the important role of the Consular Department and asked for more efforts to continue to improve its apparatus, professionalism, and personnel.
