Creating favorable conditions for Economic and Industrial Zones
(VOVworld)- Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai has asked the Ministry of Planning and Investment to take drastic measures to expand the coverage of Industrial and Economic Zones. At a meeting of the Steering Committee for the Development of IZs and EZs in Hanoi on Friday, the Deputy Prime Minister stressed the need to better deal with pollution and waste treatment in industrial and economic zones and in craft villages.
According to the Ministry of Planning and Investment, another 5 new industrial zones were set up in the first nine months of this year bringing the total number to 299.
