Cultural exchange connects Lam Dong and Ladakh

(VOVWORLD) -A cultural exchange and tourism introduction program between Lam Dong province in Vietnam and Ladakh in India, took place Wednesday night at Lam Vien Square in Da Lat city.

Addressing the opening ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Lam Dong provincial People's Committee Pham S praised India’s cultural heritage, potential, and strengths in tourism development, particularly in the Ladakh region. He said a continued close connection in culture and tourism between the two localities would open up opportunities for cooperation.

Tashi Gyalson, Chairman of the Ladakh Development Council, said India and Vietnam are strengthening their bilateral cooperation in trade, business exchanges, economic cooperation, and cultural exchanges. As a representative of Ladakh, he considers it an honor to showcase Ladakh’s unique wonders to Vietnam through this event.

The event, which is taking place until Saturday, includes videos on investment opportunities and tourist attractions in Lam Dong and in Ladakh interspersed with art performances.
