(VOVworld) – Ho Chi Minh City wants more businesses from the Czech Republic to come and seek investment opportunities.

At a meeting Wednesday with Czech Minister of Industry and Trade Jan Mládek, Vice Chairwoman of the municipal People’s Committee Nguyen Thi Hong said the two countries should continue to expand bilateral cooperation based on their traditional ties. Mládek said Ho Chi Minh City and nearby provinces have a favourable and attractive investment environment. He said the Czech Republic is ready to invest in a wide range of areas including transportation infrastructure, energy, mining, agriculture, healthcare, finance, and banking. Ho Chi Minh City now has six Czech-invested projects with a total investment of more than 6 million USD.
