Danish PM warns of worst Brexit scenario
(VOVWORLD) - Brexit may end with the worst scenario of no deal, Danish Prime Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen said ahead of an EU summit on Thursday in Brussels.
EU leaders will discuss the slowness of recent Brexit talks. Spain’s Foreign Minister said Brexit is not a political problem but a matter of implementation.
On Tuesday, UK House of Commons speaker John Bercow said the Brexit bill, which repeals the 1972 European Communities Act through which the UK became a member of the bloc, has been approved by Queen Elizabeth II. The new law says the UK will leave the EU at 11 pm on March 29, 2019.
