Deputy PM calls for stricter punishment of food safety violation
(VOVWORLD) - Deputy PM Vu Duc Dam on Friday chaired an inter-sectoral meeting to review food safety management in 2018 and set out this year’s plans for the sector.

He praised the sector’s efforts and significant achievements in promoting communication on food safety and hygiene while ensuring distribution of hygienic food with proper tracking systems in place. He urged relevant agencies to tighten food safety management and deal strictly with any violations nationwide. He called for closer cooperation among the Vietnam Fatherland Front and other social and political organizations in promoting programs on ensuring food safety and hygiene.
