(VOVworld) – Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai and a government team on Saturday made an inspection tour of uranium exploration project in in Nam Giang district of Quang Nam province. The Deputy PM stressed the goals and significance of the uranium project for the development of nuclear energy for peaceful purposes in Vietnam. He urged relevant agencies to make efforts to implement the project as planned. According to a survey by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, the area has big potential for uranium development. The project has been carried out since April 2010.
