(VOVworld)- Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai has visited Tan Rai bauxite project in Bao Lam district of Lam Dong province. He urged the Vietnam Coal and Minerals Group and the Project Management Board to ensure safety for the bauxite sludge storage pond and suggested that camera surveillance system must be in place to provide early warning. The Deputy Prime Minister asked the project management board to strengthen its environmental monitoring solutions and have sufficient back-up plans to prevent sludge leakage so that local people were free of worry when it came to environmental quality.
