(VOVworld) – Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc attended a ceremony to grant the Labor Hero title to the PetroVietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation on Sunday. He spoke highly of the sector’s position in the petroleum industry and Vietnam’s economy. He urged the Corporation to adopt a long-term vision to develop in par with the international level.
Phuc said: “It’s important to focus on training human resources and improve the cultural and material lives of the workers. Important tasks include exploring new gas resources, upgrading the infrastructure such as ports, logistics, and pipelines to form a national network.”
Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc visited the construction work on the new Ghenh bridge across the Dong Nai River in the southern province of Dong Nai. He urged the Ministry of Construction, the Vietnam Railway Corporation, and Dong Nai province to speed up the construction progress to reconnect the north-south railway while ensuring construction safety and quality.
