(VOVworld) – On Monday the National Assembly approved a resolution on the proposal by the President of the National Electoral Council relieving from duty 2 vice-presidents and members of the National Electoral Council.

The 2 Council Vice Presidents are Nguyen Xuan Phuc and Nguyen Thi Doan. The National Assembly also approved President Tran Dai Quang’s proposal on the dismissal of Vice President of the Defense and Security Council Nguyen Tan Dung and Council members Nguyen Sinh Hung and Phung Quang Thanh.

President of the National Electoral Council Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan nominated Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh and Vice State President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh as Vice-presidents of the Council. A number of Council members were also nominated.
