The WHO said the number of Ebola infections is likely to decrease by next year.

(VOVworld) – The number of Ebola infections was likely to decrease by the beginning of next year, said Pierre Formenty, a WHO expert on Ebola, in Geneva, on Tuesday. He said that the WHO did not guarantee that the infection would stop, but hoped that the number of infections in Guinea, Liberia, and Sierra Leone would reduce by 5 to 10 cases per week. He also called on health workers to quickly develop a test tool so as to not miss out any infected cases.
