Egypt wants to foster economic and trade relations with Vietnam

(VOVworld) - Egypt's Prime Minister Sherif Ismail has expressed his wish that Vietnam and Egypt will boost cooperation in various fields ranging from oil and gas, tourism,  to aquaculture and fertilizer production.

At a reception on Monday for Hoang Binh Quan, Chairman of the Vietnamese Party's Commission for External Relations, Sherif Ismail agreed on Mr. Quan’s proposal of solutions to strengthen economic cooperation and exchange of bilateral trade.

The same day, Mr. Quan held talks with deputy secretary of the Arab League, Bin Hally where they expressed the hope to foster relations between Vietnam and the Arab League, between Vietnam and each member, and between the Arab League and ASEAN members.

In regards of East Sea issues, both leaders underscored the need to handle the conflict by peaceful means and in line with international law ensuring legitimate rights of all parties involved.
