Encouraging Japanese investment in Vietnam

(VOVworld) – A conference called “M&A in Vietnam-Attracting Investment from Japan” took place in Tokyo, on Tuesday to encourage Japanese investment via Merger and Acquisition of Vietnamese companies. The conference was one of several events marking the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan.

Vietnamese Ambassador to Japan Doan Xuan Hung said the Vietnamese government has created optimal conditions for Japanese firms to invest in Vietnam. The Vietnamese government has announced an industrialization strategy in 6 priority sectors involving Japan. Japan’s small and medium-sized enterprises are showing growing interest in the Vietnamese market.
