(VOVworld) - Chief Justice Truong Hoa Binh on Monday welcomed US Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg who is on a five-day visit to Vietnam to meet with members of the Supreme People's Court of Vietnam (SPCV) and attend a series of public events.

At the meeting, Chief Justice Binh expressed his delight at discussing with Justice Ginsburg issues relating to social equality, human rights, and equal access to the courts. He expected the two sides to enhance information sharing to improve transparency in procedural and legal activities and the training of judges and court staff.
Chief Justice Ginsberg told the host about the organization of the US Supreme Court such as procedures, conditions of appeal, and the judging process.
She hoped both sides would boost cooperation and exchange delegations to improve their mutual understanding.
