(VOVworld) – A Vietnamese military delegation led by Chief of the General Staff, Senior Lieutenant General Do Ba Ty attended the 13^th ASEAN Chiefs of Defense Forces Informal Meeting (ACDFIM-13) in Vientiane, Laos on March 13-15.

The Vietnamese delegation has confirmed Vietnam’s position and participation in regional and international military and defense forums, aiming to realize Vietnam’s external policy of multilateralization, diversification, and being active and responsible in international integration.
Vietnam has advocated to boosting friendly relationships between its army and other ASEAN armies, heading towards the goal of an ASEAN Political-Security Community.
