(VOVworld) – Books written by women and about women will come to Hanoi audiences in late May during the 4^th European Literature event held by the European Union National Institutes for Culture (EUNIC) under European Days 2014.

The event will introduce novel “The taste of apple seeds” written by German author Katharina Hagena about a family with 3 generations of women, “School of wives” written by Polish author Magdalena Witkiewicz, and romantic love stories of Swedish writer Katarina Mazatti.

British poetess Aoife Mannix will talk with audiences about female writers and the topic of women in European literature with the participation of researcher Le Hong Sam, translator Nguyen Thi Thanh Thu, and psychologist Nguyen Thuy Anh. The literature event will also feature books for children.
