Exhibition honors Vietnamese army generals

(VOVworld) – An ongoing exhibition in Hanoi is showcasing a range of artistic works on famous Vietnamese army generals honoring the development of the Vietnam People’s Army over the past 70 years.

The exhibition is part of a project called “Vietnam’s legends” which is run by a group of youngsters to promote the historical values and revolutionary traditions of Vietnamese people.

The exhibits, which include photos, paintings, and sculptural work, are introduced to the public for the first time and feature legendary army commanders, including General Vo Nguyen Giap, Commander in chief of the Vietnam People's Army and General Nguyen Chi Thanh.

The exhibition, which opens until Monday, describes senior leaders of the Party and State during the army’s build-up and Vietnam’s historic milestones.
