Exhibition on Vietnam’s Hoang Sa and Truong Sa

(VOVworld) - The Ministry of Information and Communication and the Dac Lac provincial People’s Committee have opened an exhibition displaying maps and historical evidence confirming Vietnam’s territorial rights over Hoang Sa and Truong Sa.

On display are ancient documents of the Nguyen dynasty from the 17th to the 20th century reflecting Vietnam’s continuous sovereignty over Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagoes.
Visitors could see 95 maps and more than one hundred publications from the West on the issue as well as archives photos made during French colonial time and the Republic of Vietnam’s period.
Lieutenant Nguyen Ngoc Son from Brigade 146 of Naval Zone 4 was visiting the exhibition: “We have seen our living on islands improved thanks to support and care from the Party and commands of different levels. We have all the staple stuffs for Tet celebration and national holidays and committed to protect the national island sovereignty.”
