Former Lord Mayor of London praises Vietnam’s efforts in banking and financial stabilization

(VOVworld) - Former Lord Mayor of London Alderman Fiona Woolf told the Vietnam News Agency’s London correspondent, after a recent working visit to Vietnam, that VN’s growing economy creates great long-term opportunities for UK investors.

Talking about Vietnam’s efforts to stabilize its banking and financial systems, Woolf said that what Vietnam has done in focusing on financial services is the right move.

Woolf said UK investors are waiting for the signing of a Free Trade Agreement between Vietnam and the EU, and that this agreement will bring great benefits to Vietnam and the countries of Europe.
