(VOVWORLD) - Former Politburo member and former President Le Duc Anh passed away at 8:10 p.m on Monday at his house in Hanoi due to illness and advanced age, according to the National Commission of Health Services for Senior Officials.

Mr. Le Duc Anh was born in 1920. Information about his funeral will be announced later.
