Running to next Tuesday, the event aims to introduce and promote rural tourism and the characteristics and potentials of OCOP in the Mekong Delta region.

Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Tran Thanh Nam said the OCOP program has been widely implemented nationwide, which helps promote the unique specialties, culture, and identity of each area. He said: “The OCOP program has helped strengthen the connection between agricultural and economic development, as well as services and tourism in Vietnam. Mekong Delta provinces have given priority to developing traditional products, as well as their key agricultural commodities.”

The Forum also includes a workshop on orientation to promote OCOP products in community tourism and tourist spots in the Mekong Delta, and a workshop to promote e-commerce for OCOP products as well as trade connection between provinces and cities.
