(VOVworld) – France has shared experience in managing, monitoring, and evaluating state budget expenditures in response to climate change.

A seminar in Hanoi on Tuesday was co-hosted by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, the France Agency for Development (AFD), and the Agency for International Technical Cooperation (ADETEF) under the Vietnam-France Year which celebrates bilateral diplomatic ties.  

French experts detailed for participants the aims and the causes of policy monitoring by state agencies, the government’s efforts in climate change mitigation and state budget management, and tools for budget planning and evaluating state budget expenditures. After the seminar, they will work with Vietnamese ministries and agencies to set out future cooperation.
