Workers, who are living far from their home villages, take free bus home for the Lunar New Year holiday.

The disadvantaged workers and their families are unable to afford transportation costs to head home for the Tet holiday. Trinh Van Dung from Thanh Hoa province said: “My family has not visited my home village for 5 years. My children are very glad. The Trade Union has taken good care of us and we are very thankful.”

MobiFone Telecommunications Group on Tuesday gave out 1,200 train tickets to workers in Binh Duong and Dong Nai province to allow them to visit home for the holiday. The workers will also receive a 40% discount on their return tickets.
