(VOVworld) – French President Francois Hollande arrived in Cairo on Sunday for a two-day visit, accompanied by a delegation of business people.

France and Egypt are expected to sign a series of bilateral economic agreements on this occasion.

Hollande and his Egyptian counterpart Abdel Fttah El-Sisi plan to sign memoranda of understanding and projects in electricity, renewable energy, the construction of Cairo metro, a waste water treatment system, and expert training.
The two leaders will discuss issues relating to the crisis in Syria, Libya, and Yemen as well as France’s initiative to restore the Middle East peace process between Israel and Palestine.
