In his letter, Mr. Man wished them a Christmas full of warmth, peace, and happiness, and a New Year with lots of health, success, and blessings. He praised Christians nationwide for their contributions to national development, especially in the national new rural development movement and poverty reduction. Mr. Man said Christians also play a very important role in protecting national security and defense and promoting national unity.

He called on Christians to promote their tradition of patriotism and stay united with other Vietnamese people for national construction and defense as well as in international integration.
