(VOVworld) - Vietnam always welcomes European enterprises to invest in, said Head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Economic Affairs Nguyen Van Binh on Wednesday.

At a meeting with Chairman of the European Chamber of Commerce (Eurocham) in Vietnam Jens Ruebbert, Mr. Binh stressed Vietnam’s priorities of stepping up reforms to fine-tune the country’s economic institution, creating a competitive and fair business climate, and improving the national economy’s competitiveness. He said he believes that Eurocham will continue effectively cooperating with Vietnam’s agencies and organizations and promoting relations between Vietnam and the EU. Mr. Ruebbert said the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement will play a vital role in Vietnam’s global trade integration, helping it become a more attractive business and investment destination for European firms.
