(VOVWORLD) - German Chancellor Angela Merkel arrived in Washington on Wednesday to rewarm US-Germany ties, which have been cold since Donald Trump’s administration.

Ms. Merkel will meet with President Biden at the White House on Thursday.
She is also scheduled to meet US Vice President Kamala Harris, representatives of US companies, and receive an honorary degree from John Hopkins University.
