(VOVworld) - German police have arrested a man on suspicion of being a member of a foreign terrorist organization. Police said on Wednesday that the suspect, a 27 year-old Syrian who has been living in Germany since 2015, was arrested at his apartment in Berlin.

The German Federal Criminal Police Office reported that in 2016, secret services have kept track of 450 Muslims who are possible terrorists. Germany has been maintaining security alerts of a terror threat since the Islamic State militant group launched two consecutive attacks in July.
