Get-together marks 57 years of Malaysia’s National Day
(VOV) – After more than 40 years of diplomatic relations, the ties of friendship and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Malaysia have been consolidated with positive developments across a range of fields. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Nhung, head of the Vietnam-Malaysia Friendship Association in HCM City made the remarks at a get-together celebrating the 57th anniversary of Malaysia’s National Day, held on Friday in Ho Chi Minh City.
In 2013, the two governments agreed to upgrade their cooperative relations to strategic partnership level at earliest opportunity.
At the meeting, the Malaysian Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City Shazryll Zahira expressed his hope that the friendly relations between the two countries would further prosper across a variety of fields for the mutual benefit of both peoples.
