Mr. Phuc made the appeal while attending a ceremony in Hanoi on Saturday to launch a campaign on creating literature works for children.

Literature for children should be strongly encouraged and spread as dreams, desires and ambitions should be nurtured from an early age until adulthood and literature is the source of nourishment for the soul, he added.

The campaign will run until 2025. It is divided into two phases with the first from January 2022 to June 2023, and the second from July 2023 to July 2025.

It aims to praise, encourage, and honor good virtues, actions and thoughts, to inspire, foster and enrich children's souls.
