GMS approves 64 billion USD development strategy
(VOVWORLD) -The Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS) has approved a 64 billion USD project to ensure regional sustainable and equal development over the next 5 years.
Ministers from Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Myanmar, Vietnam and China agreed on the plan during the 22nd GMS meeting in Hanoi on Wednesday, considering it a foundation for open and mutual trust connectivity. They pledged to promote a joint transport strategy, environmentally friendly agriculture and welcomed Hanoi Action Plan preparation for the next 5 years.
