The allocation prioritized the third phase of the second-stage border patrol road project for the socio-economic development in the border areas, and for national defence security. National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung said: "Border patrol roads top the list of the National Assembly’s resolution on government bond allocation. The construction of border patrol roads in the North has basically been completed. We need to focus on the sections near the Southwestern border. The Ministry of National Defence was designated to this task. The Standing Committee needs to endorse at least 1.5 trillion VND for this project".

On the same day, the Standing Committee discussed the draft Law on Bankruptcy. The participants focused on the scope of adjustment, as well as the law’s jurisdiction, and bankruptcy procedures for credit institutions.
