(VOVworld) – The Government Committee for Religious Affairs on Friday launched its web portal in English at www.religion.vn. The site will join efforts to disseminate information to Vietnamese overseas and international friends and promote the image of a peaceful, stable, and democratic Vietnam to the world.

Readers can find here an overview of religions in Vietnam, featuring the typical practices of religious organizations, the policies of the Party and the State towards religious practices, religious followers who are bright examples in life, and an introduction to the establishment and development of religions recognized in Vietnam. The operation of the Committee’s 2 websites in both Vietnamese and English will contribute to the greater national unity and a stable political climate.
