Government vows to boost support industry
(VOVWORLD) - The Vietnamese government attaches great importance to developing the country’s support industry, with special focus given to electronics, garment and textiles, leather and footwear, fashion, and automobiles.

Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung made the remark at Tuesday’s ceremony to kick off a cooperation project between the Ministry of Industry and Trade and South Korean group Samsung on training Vietnamese consultants.
"I want to emphasize the Vietnamese government’s determination in boosting the support industry’s growth to increase the added values of made-in Vietnam products while enhancing the Vietnamese economy’s competitiveness," said Mr. Dung.
Deputy PM Trinh Dinh Dung asked Samsung to continue providing concrete support in training and technology transfer to enable Vietnam’s support industry firms to join Samsung’s value chains.
