Ha Nam province urged to step up new rural development

(VOVworld) – Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan said Tuesday that the Red River Delta province of Ha Nam should intensify its new rural development efforts. In talks with local people, Doan suggested greater promotion of outstanding individuals who have donated land for new rural roads and other role models in building new rural area.

Doan answered questions about welfare for beneficiaries and role models, land acquisition, land clearance, and health insurance benefits and asked local authorities to promptly deal with public concerns. She went on to say that the Party and State have been fine-tuning their policy to support the people.

The same day, Dinh The Huynh, Head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Communications and Education, joined National Assembly deputies from Hoa Binh province in meeting with voters in Ky Son district and Luong Son town.
