30 Vietnamese graffiti artists and others from Indonesia, Cambodia, Australia, Germany, France, and the UK will participate in the event, showcasing a range of graffiti pieces to local art lovers at the Gia Lam train factory in Long Bien district that transform vehicles and walls of the building.

The Hanoi Creative Design Festival 2023 is the largest event of its kind to date and will return to the capital next Friday to November 26, featuring a wide range of activities.

According to the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports, the annual festival aims to realize Hanoi’s initiatives and commitments to UNESCO as a member of the its Creative Cities Network.

With the theme "Flow", the event will highlight the Red River, considered to be a vital thread connecting the historical, cultural, and socio-economic values of the capital.

The event was first held in 2021 and will be hosted by the administration of Hanoi, the Vietnam Association of Architects, the UNESCO Representative Office in Hanoi, and UN-Habitat.
