(VOVworld) - Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung on Wednesday met with Hanoi authorities and representatives of Commercial Banks and the Real Estate Association to seek ways to improve the real estate market and deal with bad debts. In his address, the Prime Minister asked Hanoi to review its housing development plans, utilize resources to develop social houses and work out necessary policies to assist the real estate market and help low-income people access to houses. The Prime Minister stressed the need to reform administrative procedures relating to real estate transaction and restructure real estate products to meet the market demands. Dung cited the importance of ensuring transparency in information about real estate market thus promoting the market sustainability. He said the government will discuss measures to tackle difficulties of the real estate market at its regular meeting in December.
