(VOVworld)- President of the National Assembly of Cambodia Heng Samrin said that Vietnam has always been a good neighbor to Cambodia.

At a reception for the new Vietnamese Ambassador to Cambodia, Thach Du, in Phnom Penh on Monday, Heng Samrin said good results have been achieved by the friendship and wide-ranging cooperation between the two countries. He said that the two should continue to tap their joint potential in trade, investment, tourism, and aviation and expressed his hope that the Vietnam-Cambodia Border Affairs Committee will expedite the planting of markers along the shared borderline. He promised that the Cambodian National Assembly and State agencies will continue their efforts to foster bilateral cooperation.
