(VOVworld) - Vietnam’s Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Le Quoc Doanh, and his Australian counterpart David Parker chaired a high ranking policy dialogue in Hanoi on Tuesday.

These were the first high level talks between the two countries on bilateral cooperation in agricultural production and trade towards a sustainable farming industry. Deputy Minister Doanh called for more Australian support in policy making and market development to promote bilateral ties in agriculture. Deputy Minister Parker said he expected the talks to improve bilateral comprehensive cooperation.
