Mr. Nguyen Hung Phong, Director of Ho Chi Minh Economics University’s Startup Center said there are not that many really good ideas for startups. Ho Chi Minh City now has 20 incubators at a number of universities, academies, and private enterprises to support 86 projects. Some good projects have been accepted but are still seeking investment capital from businesses. Attendees at the event urged Ho Chi Minh City authorities to create more policies that support startups.
