This is the third relic site in dedication to President Ho Chi Minh in Thailand, after the two others in Udon Thani and Nakhon Phanom provinces. Ho Chi Minh museum and Ho Chi Minh memorial complex are located on the campus of 6,400 square meters of the Vietnam – Thailand Friendship Center in Phichit province.

In his address at the opening ceremony, Vietnamese Ambassador to Thailand Nguyen Hai Bang sincerely thanked the Thai Royal, government, and people, as well as the Vietnamese nationals living in Thailand who had helped complete the museum. He expressed his hope that the relic site will soon become a popular tourist destination in the region.

Thai Minister of Sports and Tourism Weerasak Kowsurat and Head of Phichit province Weerasak Wichitsaengsri said this site will further consolidate the friendship between Vietnam and Thailand.

 In autumn 1928, Nguyen Ai Quoc (Ho Chi Minh), alias Tho, stayed with overseas Vietnamese in Pamakhap village for a month before leaving for Thai northeast provinces. The complex exhibits photos and documents on HCM revolution career in Thailand in the 1928-1929 period.
