(VOVWORLD) - The annual Homeland Spring (Xuan Que Huong), the biggest external and cultural event for overseas Vietnamese on the Lunar New Year, will be organized in Ho Chi Minh City on February 1‑2, 2024 (the 22nd and 23rd days of the 12th lunar month).

According to the State Commission for Overseas Vietnamese Affairs,the annual program will also be attended by leaders and former leaders of the Party, State, Ministries, and localities.
The Homeland Spring 2024 program will include a meeting and banquet for overseas Vietnamese and an art exchange program themed “Ho Chi Minh City – Continuing to Write a Shining Epic”.
Last year the program in Hanoi welcomed 3,000 delegates, including 1,000 overseas Vietnamese.
