Police and court bailiffs arrived at the 33-storey Citic Tower in Admiralty, next to government buildings, to remove street barricades, facing no objection from the protesters. The authorities moved in after a court granted an injunction from Citic Tower's owners to clear the area. The injunction only covers the area around the CITIC Tower, leaving a long section of a multi-lane highway still under occupation and filled with hundreds of protest tents.
