Venezuela on Friday has declared a week of mourning following the death of Hugo Chavez. Thousands of Venezuelans went to bid a last farewell to former President Chavez at the Caracas Military Academy. About two million people visited Chavez on Thursday. Each person is being allowed 2 minutes to look at Chavez’s body inside a wooden casket covered by flower and a Venezuelan flag. The Venezuelan government on Thursday decided to embalm the body of the former President at the Revolution Museum in Caracas. Chavez’s body will be kept for public viewing at the Military Academy for seven more days.
