VFF President Nguyen Thien Nhan speaks at the event

(VOVworld) –A conference on the implementation of a national campaign to encourage Vietnamese people to prioritize Vietnamese goods opened in Hanoi on Tuesday. Addressing the event, Vietnam Fatherland Front’s President Nguyen Thien Nhan stressed the importance of further publicizing information on the campaign to raise public awareness about prioritizing made-in-Vietnam products as well as improving their quality and competitiveness. He said: "Amid fierce competitions as Vietnam further penetrates the global markets, it’s important to improve product quality and create new products in addition to our traditional items. We hope that Vietnamese enterprises will stay vigilant to avoid dumping risks. Enterprises are urged to improve their productivity and competitiveness by applying advanced technologies, not by cutting workers’ salaries."
