India boosts FTA with Eurasian Economic Union

(VOVWORLD) - Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan on Friday held talks with India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss regional issues and ways to intensify cooperation. 

 Both sides discussed potentials for cooperation in food processing, recycled energy, medicine, health care, IT, and mining. They agreed on the need to speed up the signing of a free trade agreement between India and Eurasian Economic Union.

Also on Friday, Prime Minister Modi and visiting Latvian Prime Minister Maris Kucinskis discussed bilateral ties, and regional and global issues. They agreed that India and Latvia should focus cooperation on trade, investment, food procession, and culture.
