Pakistan said that a civilian was killed and four others wounded after Indian border guards resorted to firing in Charwa and Harpal on their side. Earlier, India accused Pakistan of killing one Indian border guard and wounded seven others including four civilians in an exchange of fire between the two sides. Indian and Pakistani troops intermittently exchange fire across the line-of-control (LoC), despite an agreement to observe a cease-fire in Kashmir. Both New Delhi and Islamabad blame each other of resorting to unprovoked firings.
