Indian Cultural Center debuts in Hanoi

(VOVworld)-The Indian Cultural Center in Hanoi was inaugurated on Thursday to mark 45 years of diplomatic ties and 10 years of strategic partnership between Vietnam and India.

Addressing the opening ceremony, India’s Minister of State of External Affairs Vijay Kumar Singh said he hopes the center will open the door for Vietnamese people, particularly youngsters, to Indian culture. Vietnam's Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Khanh Hai said the center is evidence of fruitful bilateral cooperation in culture, adding that it will help Vietnamese people understand more Indian culture and people and boost tourism.
